Responsibilities
- Operate box truck for same-day and regional deliveries across Louisiana
- Maintain DOT compliance and flawless vehicle documentation
- Optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Submit accurate delivery receipts and mileage logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time load adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (MVR required)
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability)
- Reliable box truck (2010+ model preferred)
- Smartphone with GPS and data capabilities
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside repairs
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
