Responsibilities
- Operate 26ft box trucks to deliver freight to commercial and residential clients.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Safely load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment.
- Obtain customer signatures and document delivery conditions accurately.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Ensure cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of driving experience.
- Reliable box truck or straight truck with valid registration and insurance.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and background check.
- Strong knowledge of the Nashville, TN road network.
- Basic math skills for making change and reading bills of lading.
- Professional demeanor and customer service skills.
