Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight across Alaska's designated routes with flexible scheduling
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for compliance
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding route updates and delivery status
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Build strong relationships with clients through professional service
- Optimize routes for efficiency while respecting flexible hour agreements
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR driving experience
- Ability to work independently with flexible scheduling
- Strong knowledge of Alaska terrain and weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Willingness to work weekends/holidays as needed
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor roadside repairs
