Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Vehicles: Drive commercial trucks on designated local and regional routes in and around Boston.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck and trailer are in safe operating condition.
- Load & Unload: Handle cargo with care, ensuring proper securement and efficient loading/unloading at delivery sites.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of delivery logs, mileage, and cargo manifests in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure a zero-accident workplace.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers and provide exceptional service during deliveries.
Qualifications
- CDL Class A License: Must possess a valid US Commercial Driver’s License (Class A).
- Driving History: Clean driving record with no serious violations or accidents in the past 3 years.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform manual labor.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to read maps and GPS systems.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Eligibility: Must be able to pass a DOT drug screen and criminal background check.
