Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) over long distances in a dedicated lane.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs and electronic records in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws at all times.
- Represent the Prime Inc. brand professionally at all client facilities.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of logbook laws and safety regulations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as required.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor on-road troubleshooting.
