Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy dump trucks to transport construction materials and debris to designated sites.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently using forklifts and manual handling techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck cab and bed, adhering to company standards.
- Follow all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and site supervisors regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B with Tanker endorsement preferred.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT compliant).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy loads.
