Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain box truck fleet in compliance with DOT regulations
- Optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency and on-time performance
- Manage cargo loading/unloading with proper securing techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and digital documentation
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adapt to dynamic scheduling with real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 3 years box truck/straight truck experience
- Proven safety record with no preventable accidents
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
- Strong navigation skills using GPS and route planning tools
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Reliable personal box truck (2015+ model preferred)
- Business liability insurance ($1M minimum)
