Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes within 100-mile radius
- Perform pre-trip inspections and adhere to DOT regulations
- Load/unload freight using appropriate equipment (pallet jacks, dollies)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Report maintenance issues and vehicle defects promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of California roadways and traffic laws
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings
- Basic smartphone proficiency for communication apps
