Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and navigate Detroit metro routes efficiently
- Load/unload packages with proper handling techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Adhere to all traffic laws and Amazon safety protocols
- Communicate delivery status and exceptions to dispatch team
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Detroit area
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery scanning
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
