Responsibilities
- Drive box trucks and commercial vehicles to deliver freight to local businesses and residential areas.
- Secure cargo using straps, ropes, and covers to ensure safe transit.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe operating condition.
- Load and unload merchandise safely, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation for all deliveries.
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve delivery issues on-site.
Qualifications
- Must own a suitable box truck (size 14' - 26') with valid registration and insurance.
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
- Must possess a clean driving record and be insurable.
- Strong knowledge of local Sacramento streets and geography.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
