Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional freight deliveries
- Optimize routes to meet tight delivery windows and maximize efficiency
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- Communicate proactively with clients and dispatch teams
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage cargo loading/unloading procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 3 years box truck experience
- Relatively new truck (2018+ model preferred)
- Commercial auto insurance ($1M liability)
- DOT medical certification
- Smartphone with reliable data access
- Ability to lift 50lbs occasionally
- Strong time management and customer service skills
