Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial locations across Seattle
- Optimize daily routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency and on-time delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon completion
- Inspect vehicles daily for safety and report maintenance needs promptly
- Load and unload packages with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Provide exceptional customer service during all delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Communicate delivery status and delays to dispatch team proactively
Qualifications
- Valid Washington State driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and smartphone technology
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Knowledge of Seattle neighborhoods and traffic patterns preferred
