Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on local and regional routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Adapt to dynamic delivery schedules and traffic conditions
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies
- Represent our brand with professionalism in customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of metro Detroit roadways and logistics hubs
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility for early morning start times
