Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) to transport goods safely and efficiently to designated destinations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and forklifts/hand trucks as needed.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere strictly to DOT regulations.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck cab and cargo area.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL License in the state of Tennessee (or ability to obtain one immediately).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) on file.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no recent DUIs, reckless driving, or serious moving violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Basic knowledge of trucking terminology and navigation tools.
