Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A or B commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Inspect and maintain truck/trailer systems in compliance with DOT regulations
- Plan and execute efficient delivery schedules while meeting tight deadlines
- Complete accurate electronic logging and delivery documentation
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Adhere to all safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Assist with loading/unloading operations when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia metro area and Northeast routes
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend schedules
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred
