Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight accurately and securely, utilizing proper handling techniques.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and documentation for all trips, ensuring HOS compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Uphold a clean driving record and professional image at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
- Ability to operate a manual transmission (if applicable to the role).
