As a Freight Driver, you will play a crucial role in the supply chain, delivering goods safely and on time across the region.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring cargo security and proper placement.
- Prepare and maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and delivery paperwork.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong time management and navigation skills.
- Willingness to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends if necessary.
