Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods safely and efficiently along designated routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members
- Document delivery information and resolve minor delivery discrepancies
- Represent the company professionally with exceptional customer service
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- Willingness to obtain CDL Class A license through our paid training program
- Basic math skills for load documentation and route navigation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including early mornings and weekends
