Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided Class A trucks on dedicated routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Load/unload freight using appropriate equipment (no-touch preferred)
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding deliveries
- Manage delivery timelines while prioritizing safety and compliance
- Report maintenance needs promptly to prevent downtime
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- 1+ year dedicated OTR experience preferred
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in electronic logging device (ELD) usage
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for overnight travel and weekend schedules
- Basic navigation skills and smartphone proficiency
