Responsibilities
- Transport local/regional freight using your owned box truck
- Maintain delivery schedules with GPS tracking compliance
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch for route optimization and load assignments
- Document deliveries and handle customer communications
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class C license with clean MVR (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Proof of commercial liability insurance ($1M+)
- Reliable box truck (26' max) with DOT inspection certification
- Ability to lift 50lbs occasionally
- Smartphone with data plan for dispatch apps
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
