Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles for dedicated long-haul routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using advanced GPS technology
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and documentation
- Ensure timely, damage-free delivery of specialized freight
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and compliance records
- Provide exceptional customer service during transit and delivery
- Collaborate with dispatch team for optimal load coordination
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 3 years OTR experience with dedicated route background
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate manual transmission
- Strong knowledge of hazmat/dry van tanker regulations
- Proficient in ELD systems and route optimization software
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass federal background check and random drug screenings
- Flexibility for overnight travel and variable schedules
