Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for material transport (gravel, asphalt, construction debris)
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Load/unload materials at job sites using proper equipment
- Basic equipment troubleshooting and minor maintenance
- Represent Metro Transport professionally at client sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years dump truck experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Philadelphia area traffic patterns
- Physical ability to climb equipment and work in all weather
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong communication and time-management skills
