Responsibilities
- Safely transport goods to designated local residential and commercial addresses in the Houston area.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring items are handled with care and proper lifting techniques are used.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures or proof of delivery as required.
- Collect payments and accurately complete daily delivery logs and paperwork.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service to every client you encounter.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe operating condition.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle interior.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong knowledge of Houston, TX, streets, highways, and local geography.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging delivery data.
- Reliable personal vehicle or willingness to use company fleet.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as business needs arise.
