Responsibilities
- Operate company-owned late-model tractors with advanced safety features
- Maintain strict delivery schedules while adhering to DOT regulations
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance checks
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients using telematics
- Ensure secure and timely delivery of specialized freight
- Document all transit activities and compliance paperwork
- Collaborate with logistics team to optimize route efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR and satisfactory background check
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights/weekends
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD) systems
- Strong navigation skills and route planning abilities
- Commitment to safety-first protocols and industry standards
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to handle loading/unloading operations
