Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and extracurricular activities
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Follow strict safety protocols and traffic regulations
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Adapt routes and schedules based on student needs
- Complete incident reports and maintenance logs
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger endorsement
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Clear driving record and background check
- School Bus Driver Certificate or willingness to obtain
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours (early mornings, afternoons, occasional weekends)
