Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight between warehouses and client locations
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Accurately complete delivery documentation and maintain shipment records
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route optimization and timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain clean vehicle appearance and report maintenance needs promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of local San Diego County roadways
- Basic computer literacy for digital documentation
- Reliable transportation to and from depot
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
