Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A) to transport freight safely and efficiently across the region.
- Manage daily route planning and adhere to strict delivery schedules to ensure on-time arrivals.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report mechanical issues immediately.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, ensuring no damage occurs and securing loads appropriately.
- Interact professionally with customers, handle documentation accurately, and resolve service issues.
- Maintain a clean driving record and strictly adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Keep the vehicle clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no serious violations in the past 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and eligible to work in the United States.
