Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver medical specimens, lab samples, and pharmaceuticals to local hospitals, clinics, and laboratories.
- Adhere to strict safety and compliance protocols for handling bio-hazardous materials and sensitive patient data.
- Maintain the cleanliness and proper organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time to guarantee the integrity of lab results.
- Communicate effectively with medical staff and dispatch teams regarding delivery status.
- Complete daily mileage logs and expense reports accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no major violations).
- Reliable personal vehicle with current insurance and registration.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong sense of time management and reliability.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
