Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, organs, pharmaceuticals, and critical documents between hospitals, labs, and clinics
- Maintain strict temperature control and chain-of-custody protocols for sensitive materials
- Utilize GPS technology for real-time route optimization and delivery tracking
- Complete detailed delivery documentation and maintain accurate records
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare facilities and patients
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and all transportation regulations
- Collaborate with dispatch team to ensure on-time deliveries
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate medical transport equipment
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Basic computer literacy for documentation systems
- Previous medical or logistics experience preferred
- Successful background check and drug screening
