Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, organs, and pharmaceuticals using temperature-controlled vehicles
- Maintain meticulous chain-of-custody documentation for all medical shipments
- Adhere to strict HIPAA and OSHA protocols for biohazard handling
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure time-sensitive materials arrive within critical windows
- Perform vehicle inspections and maintenance checks before each shift
- Provide real-time shipment tracking updates to healthcare facilities
- Act as a brand ambassador by maintaining professional communication with clients
Qualifications
- Valid New Mexico driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Previous medical courier or biohazard transport experience preferred
- OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens certification or willingness to obtain
- Proficient in GPS navigation and mobile tracking systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
