Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab results, and critical healthcare materials
- Maintain strict temperature control for temperature-sensitive shipments
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and chain-of-custody protocols
- Utilize GPS navigation for efficient route planning and timely deliveries
- Complete accurate documentation and electronic tracking for all shipments
- Coordinate with medical facilities, labs, and hospitals for pickup/dropoff
- Perform vehicle safety checks and maintenance reporting
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare certification preferred
- Experience in medical logistics or courier services
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Proficient with mobile technology and delivery tracking apps
