Responsibilities
- Operate box truck (26ft-26ft) for local and regional freight delivery in Los Angeles metro area
- Manage route optimization and timely delivery of goods to commercial and residential locations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle maintenance records, and required documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for load assignments and schedule adjustments
- Ensure cargo safety and compliance with DOT regulations and company policies
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license and clean driving record (MVR required)
- Minimum 1 year box truck or commercial driving experience
- Reliable 26ft box truck (year 2010 or newer) with proper insurance coverage
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation and LA area traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment when needed
- Strong time management and self-motivation skills
- DOT medical certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Smartphone with reliable data for communication and app usage
