Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial freight vehicles to transport goods across Florida
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's Permit (CDL) or ability to obtain within 30 days
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic math skills for delivery documentation
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including early mornings
- Pass background check and drug screening
