Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26ft) for local/regional deliveries in Houston metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our digital tracking system
- Manage loading/unloading operations with provided equipment (pallet jacks, liftgates)
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Optimize routes for on-time delivery while adhering to DOT regulations
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Uphold professional standards in customer interactions and cargo handling
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or commercial driving experience
- Proof of commercial liability insurance ($1M minimum)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor maintenance/repairs
- Smartphone proficiency for dispatch apps and communication
- Strong time management and route planning skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
