Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) across Texas and regional routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and perform pre/post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Collaborate with logistics team for timely load deliveries
- Participate in ongoing safety and compliance training
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Represent Swift with professionalism at all delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid state-issued driver's license
- Ability to obtain CDL Class A license (training provided)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Basic math skills for load documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
