Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport dirt, gravel, and construction materials
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Collaborate with site supervisors for timely material deliveries
- Ensure proper loading/unloading techniques at job sites
- Report mechanical issues and maintain vehicle cleanliness
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge for daily inspections
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Construction industry experience preferred
