Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and transport construction materials to job sites
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle logs per DOT regulations
- Load/unload materials using heavy equipment and maintain clean work areas
- Navigate complex construction sites and adhere to safety protocols
- Coordinate with site supervisors for timely material deliveries
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues
- Ensure compliance with all federal/state transportation laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years dump truck driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate heavy machinery
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Orange County construction routes
- Strong communication and time management skills
