Responsibilities
- Operate heavy dump trucks to transport materials (asphalt, gravel, dirt) to and from job sites efficiently.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload materials safely using equipment provided by the company.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and reports as required by DOT regulations.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, traffic laws, and traffic control procedures.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors regarding delivery schedules and site conditions.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience operating heavy dump trucks.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and DOT compliance.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting moderate loads and climbing in and out of the cab.
- Reliable work history with a proven track record of punctual attendance.
