Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks and heavy equipment safely and efficiently on various job sites.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload materials (soil, gravel, rock) using forklifts or manual labor as required.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all DOT and company safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors regarding job progress and delays.
- Keep the truck and cab clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with necessary endorsements.
- Proven experience operating dump trucks or heavy haul vehicles.
- Clean driving abstract and history.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime if needed.
- Physical ability to handle loading and unloading materials and climb in and out of the cab.
