Responsibilities
- Deliver Packages: Safely and efficiently transport packages to residential and commercial addresses within the assigned route.
- Customer Service: Provide friendly and professional interactions with customers at every stop, ensuring packages are delivered correctly.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Keep your delivery vehicle clean, organized, and in good working condition at all times.
- Route Planning: Utilize GPS and route planning tools to optimize delivery times and ensure timely arrivals.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and paperwork as required.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Package Handling: Carefully handle packages to ensure they arrive in the same condition they left the facility.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Driver's License (Class C) and a clean driving record.
- Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Vehicle: Reliable personal vehicle and proof of insurance.
- Technology: Basic smartphone literacy for navigation and communication.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills.
