Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver food, packages, and retail items to customers across San Diego
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication via our mobile app
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely service and minimize fuel consumption
- Provide exceptional customer service with friendly interactions at each delivery point
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and inventory management when required
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years)
- Reliable personal vehicle or access to a suitable delivery vehicle
- Smartphone proficiency for navigation and order management apps
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong time-management skills with ability to meet tight delivery windows
- Excellent customer service communication and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak periods
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and tip management
