Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A) to deliver freight across the region.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Document load information accurately using ELD systems and electronic logs.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and cargo handling.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work independently.
