Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across the East Coast and Midwest regions.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper equipment (forklifts, straps, etc.).
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
- Represent the company professionally at all times while on the road and at customer locations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable OTR or Regional driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if necessary.
