Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles along assigned routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load, unload, and organize packages with care to ensure safe transit and prevent damage.
- Interact professionally with customers to verify deliveries and ensure a positive experience.
- Utilize handheld devices for GPS navigation, route planning, and digital proof of delivery.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to report any maintenance needs.
- Handle cash and electronic payments accurately and maintain petty cash logs.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations in the last 3 years).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Basic proficiency with smartphone applications and GPS navigation tools.
- Physically capable of lifting packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
