Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional routes within Southern California
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and documentation verification
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs (e-trak compliant)
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery status and route adjustments
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries while maintaining on-schedule performance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of LA metro area and California highways
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (company-provided)
- Flexibility for early morning/night shifts and occasional overtime
