Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks to transport freight safely and efficiently across the United States.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure total safety compliance.
- Manage electronic logging device (ELD) records to strictly adhere to DOT regulations and Hours of Service.
- Deliver freight to designated locations while maintaining a professional demeanor with customers and shippers.
- Report any mechanical issues or road hazards immediately to dispatch.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical) on file.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations (DUI, Reckless Driving, etc.).
- Ability to pass a post-offer drug screen and criminal background check.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
