Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and aggregates to project sites
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and perform basic maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork for each haul
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with site supervisors and team members for efficient loading/unloading
- Navigate diverse urban and rural terrains in the New Orleans metro area
- Manage equipment operation in various weather conditions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of dump truck or heavy equipment operation experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Louisiana roadways and construction zones
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to safety and detail orientation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding conditions
- Valid Louisiana driver's license
