Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain your own box truck (26-28ft) for local/regional freight transport
- Manage efficient delivery routes while adhering to strict time windows and DOT regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and client interactions
- Complete accurate documentation (BOLs, logs, delivery confirmations) via our digital platform
- Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and minor maintenance as needed
- Optimize fuel efficiency and route planning to maximize profitability
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team regarding ETA and potential delays
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Proof of ownership/leasing for 26-28ft box truck (2015+ model preferred)
- Minimum $1M commercial auto liability insurance
- Strong knowledge of CA roadways and border crossing procedures
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate loading equipment
- Reliable smartphone with data plan for dispatch communication
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Proven on-time delivery rate (95%+)
