Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and hauling equipment on various job sites throughout Fresno.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload materials efficiently while adhering to weight limits and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic driver's vehicle inspection reports (DVIR).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors regarding schedules and delays.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL with the appropriate endorsements.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience driving dump trucks or heavy haul vehicles.
- Proof of current medical card (DOT physical).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physically capable of lifting materials and performing manual labor.
- Familiarity with California traffic laws and regulations.
