Responsibilities
- Deliver Amazon packages safely and efficiently to residential and commercial addresses
- Operate a personal vehicle or company-provided vehicle with proper maintenance
- Manage delivery route optimization using Amazon's handheld scanning device
- Provide excellent customer service during package delivery interactions
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report any delivery issues
- Adhere to all traffic laws and Amazon safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team for route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of delivery or driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Smartphone with reliable internet connectivity
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work early morning shifts (5 AM start)
- Basic knowledge of Kansas City area roads and neighborhoods
